What changed in this v0.4 update pass: This release focused on making the settings truly live, fixing comet behavior bugs, and keeping icon-menu effects synced with the Settings page.

  • Added dedicated Settings and Updates navigation row centered under the primary menu on all pages.
  • Added a full-page Settings experience with live-update controls (changes apply instantly on input/change).
  • Added FX panel sync settings for Noise, Bloom, Scanlines, Vignette, Aurora, Focus, and Mono so menu toggles and settings page stay aligned.
  • Added keyboard shortcut settings with an enable/disable toggle and documented all hotkeys.
  • Updated star controls: star speed now supports high values and defaults to 5000.
  • Expanded comet controls: behavior mode, mouse-orbit toggle, explosion duration, particle count, trigger hitbox, particle shape/size/color, and border-trigger option.
  • Added new comet core settings for comet speed and comet size.
  • Improved explosion visuals with random particle dimensions, stronger glow, and more destructive-looking debris motion.
  • Fixed border explosion bug so explode-on-border only triggers when the border setting is enabled.
  • Restored the comet companion enable/disable button in the header.
  • Updated validation ranges: trigger hitbox now supports 0–1000; duration/particles support 0–1000000.
